Day 1 | Arrive in Marrakech | Hotel: Riad Hiba

  • Arrival Marrakech and transfer directly to the High Atlas Mountains for overnight on a fullboard basis at Riad Hiba, a traditional Berber guesthouse where you will learn to cook some traditional Moroccan dishes.
  • Lunch and afternoon exploring the villages on foot with a guide, or relaxing.
  • Evening meal; a chance to sample the cuisine in readiness for the next day.

Day 2 | Atlas Mountains | Hotel: Kasbah Tamadot

  • Breakfast and then cookery class. This will take the whole morning, followed by lunch dining on the dishes you have created. If you would like longer and to continue into the afternoon with a different theme then that is also possible.
  • Transfer to Kasbah Tamadot for a two night stay on BB basis in a Deluxe Room.

Day 3 | Atlas Mountains | Hotel: Kasbah Tamadot

  • Spa day with optional half day horse riding from the nearby Roseraie stables.

Day 4 | Marrakech | Hotel: Villa des Orangers

  • Morning transfer to Marrakech, check in to Villa des Orangers.
  • Afternoon exploring the Marrakech medina with a shopping guide, on foot.
  • Two nights at the Villa des Orangers in a Junior Suite on a BB basis and including light lunch.

Day 5 | Marrakech | Hotel: Villa des Orangers

  • Full day with a personal shopper exploring the Sidi Ghanem industrial quarter – home to numerous decorative outlets, galleries and designer studios – and the Ville Nouvelle, the French-built new town.

Day 6 | Departure

  • Transfer to the airport.

Essential Information

When is the best time to go

Marrakech is a year round destination however, the most pleasant time to explore Marrakech is spring (mid-March to May) Then the next best is autumn (September to November), when it is not so hot.

passport/visa requirements

British nationals don’t need a visa to enter Morocco for the purpose of tourism for up to 3 months. Your passport should be valid for the proposed duration of your stay in Morocco. No additional period of validity beyond this is required.

Need to Know

In order to enjoy all of the activities we recommend packing sensible footwear and clothing. We’d also recommend trainers or walking boots for the treks, walks and hikes. We would also recommend bringing an extra suitcase to take the goods home with you, though door-to-door shipping can also be arranged.
