1
Upon arrival at Langkawi Airport, you will be met and greeted by our representative who will escort you to your private luxury vehicle for the 40-minute transfer to the hotel. Enjoy a soothing welcome cocktail and spend the rest of the day relaxing by the pool or beach.

Enjoy the spectacular signature canopy walk with the resident nature centre manager.

The evening will be spent dining at the Gulai House*. The Gulai House is a rustic traditional Malay Kampung House with the soundtrack of the present symphony of rainforest birds, crickets and more. Celebrating indigenous customs, the graceful waiting staff dressed in traditional Malay attire will greet you with a hand-washing ritual before serving a menu of authentic Malaysian cuisine. *drinks not included

Spend the morning on a private boat tour taking a slow ride through the mangroves learning about the mangrove ecology and wildlife.
Lunch will be spent in a locals home sampling some delicious homecooked Malaysian cuisine.

Drive to Crystal Creek to and enjoy a short trek to Jungle Stream waterfall for a swim in the beautiful jungle pool
After a visit to the permaculture garden, you will then spend the afternoon taking a private cookery class at the Gulai House.
The evening will be spent enjoying a tasting menu with wine pairing in The Dining Room

Day at leisure
Just before dinner, take a Naga Pelangi Sunset Cruise*, a 97-foot traditional wooden schooner-replica hand built by its nakhoda (Master Captain). Join the German skipper and his wife for free-flowing Champagne, beer, cocktails and canapés. *Please note this is a seasonal activity based on a minimum of 4 passengers, supplements may apply.

Depart the Datai by private transfer to Langkawi airport for your domestic flight to Kuala Lumpur
Afternoon arrival at 16.00 where there will be time to enjoy a cocktail or two before your evening streetfood experience tour of the highlights of Jalan Alor, followed by the nightspot of Changkat Bukit Bintan. Food and soft drinks included.

Today you will enjoy a “Heritage Food Tour”, a culinary journey to explore Kuala Lumpur’s famed street food, which starts from the Pudu Market for a taste of local tropical fruits. Travel to Chinatown for a delicious bowl of Hokkien Mee to Little India for traditional Indian sweets. The gastronomic journey concludes in the antiquated Kampung Baru, the oldest Malaysian settlement located in the heart of Kuala Lumpur. (Approx. four hours). Light refreshments provide
The afternoon is spent at leisure exploring Kuala Lumpur’s famed shopping areas or relaxing at Villa Samadhi.
