Stay with nomadic Yak herder families
Mongolia is a vast, nomadic country with sprawling wide open spaces, cobalt blue skies and huge terrains where few footsteps have trodden. It has areas so remote you could drive a whole day without seeing another living inhabitant. This unique, once-in-a-lifetime journey with Tengri founder Nancy Johnston, will take you into one of those remote and spectacular regions of Western Mongolia, the Khangai Mountains. Stay with nomadic yak herder families and experience local festivals and traditions, wilderness food from your expedition chef and an adventure which takes you right into this incredible country’s beating heart. Choose from one of two expeditions running in 2019; Spring and Summer.
